It was October 10, 2010 when we had our new vessel, M/V Mary the Queen, blessed and inaugurated. The momentous occasion was well attended by our patrons, visitors, and guests. Hon. Feliciano R. Belmonte Jr., Speaker of the House of Representatives, was the guest of honour on the said occasion.

As we formally launch, let us invite you on board and be treated to a new era of passenger and cargo services. With the highest space-per-guest ratio in the industry and with more space that will soon be available as the renovation of the Cabin F Class nears completion, no guest will feel that he or she was short changed. All cabin classes are air-conditioned and even the Economy Class passengers would enjoy their own bed, because gone are the days when thrifty passengers are deprived of space and facilities. No more sardine-like accommodations because we are after each and everyone’s comfort. Diverting away from the commuter ferry image of our competitors, our travellers are stepping on board a cruise ship atmosphere but in a price within reach by the masses.

Overloading is a thing of the past and despite the huge cargo space on the lower deck, we see to it that we are well within our ship capacities before sailing. RO-RO patrons will enjoy ultimate savings + convenience since they no longer have to travel all the way to Batangas Port to embark and sail to their destination. The RSLI Passenger and Cargo Terminal is conveniently located at Pier 8 of the Manila North Harbour. Our RO-RO service provides the benefit of savings from wear and tear of the vehicle, toll fees, check-point fees, and driver/passengers are well rested in our facilities.

Romblon officials expects tourism growth as local and foreign travellers has shown increasing interests in the unique attractions that the provinces of Romblon, Masbate, and Aklan offer. Also, officials believe that its positive economic impact will be tremendous and are confident that RSLI will play a crucial part in boosting this movement to even greater heights.
